Hometown: I grew up in the military--I don't really have a hometown.

ISU memory or tradition: My favorite ISU tradition is commencement. I love the energy and celebration that is felt throughout campus as students prepare to graduate.

Favorite Motto: "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced."- James Baldwin

Hobbies: Photography and writing

Fun Facts: I have been to every state except Maine and Montana; I have two dogs, Penny and Greta; I was born in Tokyo, Japan and lived in London as a child.

Favorite Food: I love lasagna, pizza from Blaze, and carrot cake.

What I love most about my job: I love that every day is different. I get to work with colleagues solving problems, with students to navigate challenges and opportunities, and I get to teach and present regularly- it's the best of all worlds.

I'm watching: Game of Thrones, Rick & Morty, The Great British Baking Show
