Self-Care Tips for Student Activists, Advocates, and Allies

  • Take care of your physical, spiritual, and mental health. Say “no” when you need a break.
  • Have interests outside of activism to protect your energy and headspace.
  • Be aware of triggering sources and the impact of social media. Turn off your phone.
  • Notice and honor the emotions of others and celebrate small wins when they happen.
