Student and Family Outreach Team

Student and Family Outreach Team provides outreach and promotion of the Dean of Students Office and all its departments to current and incoming students, families, and campus and community stakeholders. Student and Family Outreach Team members positively represent the DSO departments to encourage participation and engagement with DSO services and programs, like assisting with planning Cyclone Family Weekend. Students also serve as peer communicators to the ISU student body and may serve in an advisory capacity for the Dean of Students Office. 

DSO Ambassadors will

• Meet with prospective students and families
• Conduct classroom presentations on DSO programs
• Implement social media plans
• Assist with planning Cyclone Family Weekend
• Have other opportunities based on interest and experience including event planning, website maintenance, newsletter writing, and graphic design
