Candidates on Campus for Director of Writing and Media Center

The Director of the Writing and Media Center (WMC) provides the overall vision, leadership, strategic planning, fiscal and human resource management, and assessment of the programs and services provided in the rapidly growing center and satellite locations. The director also teaches a tutor/consultant education course in the Department of English, and may be considered for courtesy appointment within the appropriate academic department. Additionally, the director leads staff meetings; envisions and implements workshops, writing retreats, and outreach presentations; and maintains an active research agenda in writing center studies.
