Meet with the Director
If you'd like to discuss returning to school after time in the work world or child rearing, or if you are experiencing challenges in managing the addition of "student" to your list of things that need to be done, or maybe you're having a bad day and you don't know where to begin to seek assistance - talking with the Director of the Margaret Sloss Women's Center might be a great beginning to connecting with other resources at ISU and in Story County. The Director has regular office hours each week that you can walk-in and visit during or you can schedule a meeting by calling (515) 294-4154 or emailing womenctr@iastate.edu. One sign of a strong individual is knowing when it is necessary to ask for help.
