To be most successful in navigating the university, know and refer to your resources often. There are many offices and services on campus that can enhance your success at ISU. Here are the most frequently used resources by students seeking assistance in the DSO.

University Catalog of Undergraduate and Graduate Courses and Programs
The Iowa State University Catalog is a two-year publication which lists all academic policies, and procedures. In addition, it includes information for fees, curriculum requirements and first-year courses of study for over 100 undergraduate majors; course descriptions for nearly 5000 undergraduate and graduate courses; and a listing of faculty members at Iowa State University.

ISU Policy Library
The Iowa State University Policy Library contains University-wide policies only. It also has a searchable database and links to other publications. Essentially, this is your one-stop resource for any information about University regulations.

Student Answer Center
The Student Answer Center is a place to find answers on a variety of topics. It is located on the ground floor of Beardshear Hall and is staffed by helpful, knowledgeable people who can answer your questions or point you in the right direction.

Student Financial Aid
For many of your financial aid questions, check out their website. If you can't find your answer there, the helpful people there can give you information and help you make smart decisions.

Office of the Registrar
If you have questions about residency, transcripts, fees, or graduation, check out their website for complete information. There are many more services provided by the Office of the Registrar than meets the eye.
