Email Lists
Several LGBT-related email lists are available on campus.
LGBT Student Services Center
The LGBTSS Center (The Center) listserv serves to provide its members with the latest in news, events, trainings, and resources that are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or allied related that stem from The Center.

QUOC (Queers United On Campus)
QUOC is the longest running LGBT-related email list on campus and has the most subscribers. There are usually 8 to 10 posts to the list per day on a variety of topics ranging from local event announcements to national news. Anyone may submit posts to this list. Posts sent to the lists below are also sent to QUOC, so it is generally not necessary to subscribe to more than one list if you subscribe to QUOC.

LGBTAA
Announcements about events sponsored by the LGBTA Alliance student organization are sent to the stirfry list. Most of these announcements will be sent to QUOC as well. Only Alliance exec may post to this list.

WorkOut - For Faculty and Staff
WorkOut was created specifically for faculty and staff at Iowa State who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or Allies. WorkOut exists to support LGBTQA faculty and staff on campus, as well as students. To keep up to date on LGBTQA activities and events at Iowa State and in the community as well as be part of the growing community, work-OUT!
