Scott Rohlf Presidential Leadership Initiative Award

The Scott Rohlf Presidential Leadership Initiative Award is a scholarship in its fourth year that will continue to be presented annually to one student who has demonstrated leadership and involvement in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community at ISU. The purpose of the scholarship is to complement successful academic experiences by partially supporting student leadership and involvement in the LGBT community at ISU.

Scholarship Amount

The scholarship amount is $1,000.

Application Procedure

LGBT applicants must submit a short application. Requests for the application may be made in one of the following ways:

The application must be received in the Dean of Students Office no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009.

Selection and Notification of Recipients

The Dean of Students will select recipients on the basis of recommendation by the Advisory Board of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Student Services (LGBTSS). The recipient will be announced during the Small Victories Celebration in April 2009. Written notification of the award and an invitation will be sent to the recipient prior to the Small Victories Celebration.
