Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Student Services

Lavender Graduation

SPRING 2008 UPDATE

Lavender Graduation is one of the many special traditions LGBTA students, faculty, and staff have created for themselves at Iowa State. Each year, graduating members of the Iowa State lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally communities are recognized during this special event. Over the past seven years, nearly 100 graduates have been honored.

This year, the celebration is being combined with Small Victories and being presented once each semester. In the spring this will take place on Thursday, May 1st, 2008, from 7-9PM in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.

If you would like to participate in the Spring 2008 Lavender Graduation please complete the application provided below and/or contact LGBTSS Coordinator Kristen Wentworth at kwent@iastate.edu by 5PM on Friday, April 18th.
