Kristen Wentworth

Kristen Wentworth received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University and her master's in Higher Education from Penn State University. She is originally from New Hampshire and loves the outdoors. Prior to moving to Ames, Kristen was a Residence Hall Coordinator at Penn State University working predominantly with first-year students. Kristen has a passion for social justice and issues of diversity and has been involved with LGBT student services on both of her previous campuses.

Kristen is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at ISU and hopes to graduate in Spring 2009!

Graduate Student Assistant

Noreen Siddiqui

Noreen Siddiqui is in her final year in the master's program in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies here at Iowa State. She works part-time in Multicultural Student Affairs with the Multicultural Learning Community. This Chicago native loves cooking and rock climbing. Noreen is excited to work in LGBTSS and get to know the students.

Undergraduate Assistants

Lauren Andreasen

Lauren Andreasen is a Junior majoring in Accounting and Finance. She is from Omah, Nebraska and is looking forward to graduation in the spring of 2009. She also likes to read and get involved in new things. Lauren is excited to be working in the LGBTSS office.

Jessica Lee

Jessica Lee is a Sophomore majoring in Marketing. She works part-time for the Center of On-Line Learning. She grew up in a small town in Iowa, but loves big city life. Jessica is excited to be working in the LGBTSS office.

Janice Otting

Janice Otting is a Junior majoring in Communication Studies. She is an avid cosplay and loves anime and drawing. She grew up in a smlla town in easter Iowa. Janice is thrilled to be working with LGBTSS and looks forward to making many new friends!
