All-University Judiciary Hearing
AUJ Hearing
An All-University Judiciary Hearing is a semi-formal hearing in which information related to the alleged misconduct is reviewed and considered by the committee. During this meeting, students or officers of a student organization, along with other individuals directly related to the incident, have the opportunity to present relevant information for the committee to determine whether a student or student organization has violated any university policies.

AUJ Hearing Format
Generally, the format of the All-University Judicial Hearing will follow the outline below:

Opening summary by the Complainant or Office of Judicial Affairs representative

Opening summary by the Respondent (student or student organization) if desired
-
Presentation of witnesses, evidence, and information by Complainant
-
Questions from the Respondent to the Complainant
-
Presentation of witnesses, evidence, and information by the Respondent

Questions from the Complainant to the Respondent
-
Questions from the board to Complainant and/or Respondent
-
Closing statement by the Complainant
-
Closing statement by Respondent
Following the hearing, the AUJ will deliberate in private and make a recommendation to the Dean of Students regarding the decision and sanctions.
