Tutoring in the Academic Success Center (ASC) is the centralized process of requesting and becoming a tutor at Iowa State University. While individual academic departments and colleges may also offer tutoring opportunities and services, Tutoring in the ASC is designed to be a one-stop-shop in a centralized location.
We are dedicated to providing quality tutoring for the majority of undergraduate courses. Small group tutoring, consisting of two to four students per group, is available each semester in most undergraduate courses. Each tutoring group meets two times a week. During the summer, tutoring occurs three times a week.
If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions then Apply to Request a Tutor! You will be included in a small group (4 students max) led by a tutor who did well in the specific course(s) you request and who wants to help you! Also, be sure to check out our resouces for current tutees.
