I am a junior in Animal Science/Pre-vet. This is my second semester leading SI for AnS 214. I thoroughly enjoy the subject and hope to help students to like it a little more (or hate it a little less) through SI sessions. |
| My approach to SI Sessions: |
The goal of SI is to provide ongoing support to students in post-lecture review sessions. Physiology can be overwhelming in information content. We will go over material students traditionally find confusing, highlight important concepts, and develop vital study strategies to reduce stress and make the material more manageable. Through the sessions, I will aim to help students understand what to study, how to approach and streamline the reading, as well as go over skills to aid memorization and concept retention. I will introduce test-taking strategies specific to this course and review unit-specific test-like questions throughout the week. Student feedback is vital to me, as it helps me to tailor sessions to your needs. So tell me what you like, what you hate, and what I can do to help you the most.
