SI Leader

Name Alarm
Information Hello everybody. My name is Alarm and I am currently a senior in the agricultural biochemistry department. I do enjoy chemistry, biology, and also mathematics. In fact, I've been a SI leader for math courses this past year. But I am very excited to be helping out all of you for general chemistry part 2 (chem 178) and I hope you will have fun as well!
My approach to SI Sessions:

I would like to make it clear that SI isn't a lecture. I am not there to repeat the lecture notes. Also, technically, I am not expected to know the entirety of the material, which means, there may be times when I simply don't know the answer to your questions. In this case, I would suggest you go ask your TA's since they are more experienced at this kind of stuff. However, I will do my best in assisting you learn in this class.

As far as I am concerned with doing well in this course, I think the most important thing is to get practice. Thus, I will try to focus mostly on doing worksheets and practice problems from the book. Professor Verkade mentioned in class that if you are well off with the homework problems, then you will do well on the exams. So we will look at similar problems and small drills that can help you get through those problems.

Things to bring to SI
questions, questions, questions! And your willingness to learn!
