Academic Intervention

The mission of the Academic Intervention Program is to encourage and support our students' persistence in and graduation from Iowa State University. The intervention is designed to assist student's recognition of the obstacles interrupting their academic progress and achievement by offering success strategies workshops, individual meetings with advisers, academic consulting and additional academic resources.

The Academic Intervention staff are located within the Academic Success Center, inside the Hixson-Lied Student Success Center (HLSSC) room 1060. The HLSSC is located on the East side of campus jut across the street from Maple-Willow-Larch residence halls and the Lied Recreation Center.
