General computer labs open
to all students on campus.
e-Library@ISU
The e-Library at Iowa
State University has many electronic journals,
books, and reference sources that can be accessed online. Online course
supplements and research resources can also be found in the
Undergraduate Commons.
University-wide
Help Desk
The Solution Center,
195 Durham Center (515-296-4000), is the place
to visit or call when faced with computing and networking problems. The
Solution Center provides a central resource to help students and faculty
get connected to the network at ISU. Connectivity can be anything from
requesting Ethernet or PPP access to getting help with site-licensed
software.
Academic
Success Center
The Academic Success Center (ASC) is a collection of services and
programs designed to help you reach your academic goals. We offer
individualized and small group experiences, course-specific and general
academic assistance, and even credit and non-credit programs. It's up to
you to choose and use those which can help you strengthen your learning
and earn the grades you want!
Multimedia equipment check-out for students
GSB funded multimedia equipment is available for currently enrolled ISU
students to borrow at no charge. Equipment available for checkout
includes digital and film cameras, video cameras and accessories, public
address systems, audio players and recorders and video and computer
projectors.
WebCT
student support site
WebCT is a collection of
courseware tools that is used for online learning. Visit the WebCT support
site for information on how to use many of WebCT features.
